About Me
Prior to joining the Hurley Lab at Indiana University, Bloomington, I earned my Bachelor’s of Science in Biology with minors in Psychology and Biochemistry at The University of Texas at Tyler, graduating Summa Cum Laude.
Alongside dissertation work and assisting with courses, I happily served as the graduate student representative at Indiana University’s Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee, where for four years I was able to learn about animal welfare and how it intersects with research from “behind the curtain”.
Outside of work, I enjoy reading, hiking, and spending time with my wife and our five (!) pets.
